Our products are harvested by freezer longliners owned by our affiliate, Clipper Seafoods, Ltd., as well as freezer longliners owned by independent companies. These fishing vessels offload the frozen product at Dutch Harbor, Alaska, where it is held for prompt shipment by container vessel or breakbulk tramper.

The freezer longline Alaska cod fishery in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands off the coast of Alaska has become the first cod fishery in the world to obtain Marine Stewardship Council ("MSC") certification as a sustainable and well-managed fishery. The MSC is an accreditation body that accredits independent certification bodies to assess applicant fisheries and determine whether they meet the MSC's Principles and Criteria for Sustainable Fishing.
This certification was awarded to Bering Select Seafoods Company on February 8, 2006, and only Bering Select Seafoods Company is eligible to sell MSC-certified Alaska cod products from the vessels listed on the MSC fishery certificate. For a complete list of eligible vessels, see the Vessels page. Visit www.msc.org for more information.
