Wild caught fish possess active nutrients beyond omega-3 fatty acids, such as immune active vitamins D and A, preresolving mediators, and in the case of salmon, natural astaxanthin. Bering Select has developed a proprietary cleaning process that removes unwanted compounds while maintaining the naturally occurring nutrient profile unaltered.
The fish used to make our omega-3 ingredients are frozen immediately after catch and processed within hours or days at our custom production facility in Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
